Seems there's blood was a major trauma ... ensure that no one outside of his cage and left. So many times a hamster mice are susceptible to so-called wet tail said. Basically it is an infection caused by stress or contact with other creatures of the same. The symptoms are diarrhea and sometimes excessive mucus of the eyes and nose. When this happens, act quickly, because it is untreated, death ... mostly through dehydration. If you have any other in the hammy cage or eliminate a patient as quickly as possible. Probably should call the vet or pet store to get it. If it can create a Petco you take to bring them to free treatment. I would say that the place where I offer a similar service, if at Petco. Normally treated with a baytral med called flaygal (please excuse the spelling ... it's something similar). Call your vet and perhaps see if you can keep your hands out to some of these things, and add to your water according to the instructions. I do not know how easily accessible without having to visit a vet. Each WHhammy or keep a very, very clean ... and isolated, as it can be contagious for other animals. Good luck.
