For those who have an ATM or severe have jaw / jaw pain when opening your mouth:

Is there anything I can do, or (of a large quantity of alcohol and painkillers!) Apart around the pain as "alleviation of an intimate relationship" with my friend, the mouth requires open for long periods of time? The pain is over EXCRUTIATING and I can not for more than 4-5 minutes, which I think is just awful.

I'm wearing a night watchman dentist to prevent damage from teeth grinding at night.
